Week Four in my 2016 Project Life Album: Using Stampin' Up! Happy Times Project Life Card Collection and Accessory Pack

Week Four 2016!
For this layout I used the Project Life by Stampin' Up! Happy Times Bundle.  The Bundle includes a Stamp Set, Card Collection and Accessory Pack that all coordinate perfectly together.  It was really all of the fabulous, exclusive Project Life stuff that Stampin' Up! offers that made me decide to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  I figured, why not?  I'll be my own best customer :)
So, I pretty much signed up for the awesome discount and I love sharing this rewarding hobby with others!

I decided to use this collection for my layout this week because I love the pocket cards in the accessory kit!  I thought a pocket card would be perfect for our movie tickets.  We rarely go to the movies, but I was excited to see Joy.  My embellishments were pretty simple and all from the accessory pack.  I used washi tape, stickers and some of the little 2x2 cards, too.  The only thing I used on this page that wasn't in the bundle was my roller date stamp.

Everything on this page was included in the bundle, too.  I used the Happy Times stamp set to stamp "daily routine" and to stamp the journalling lines on two of the cards and the yellow heart on the card that says, "Home is wherever I'm with you."  All of the other embellishments are stickers from the accessory pack.

The "Home is wherever I'm with you" card is one of my favorites from this collection.  And, I love the colors.  This collection is great for documenting everyday moments.

Week Three in My 2016 Project Life Album: Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Kit for Boy pages!

Week Three 2016!
For this layout I used the Project Life Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Core Kit.  This kit is pretty girly and definitely has a Springtime vibe, but I was able to use it for my January pages with lots of photos of my son by choosing the cards that have bold words on them.

For my title card, I used my date roller stamp and some stamps I had from an old Scraptastic kit.  I stamped them all using Stampin' Up! Basic Black Archival ink.  The number 3 is an old Basic Grey die cut that I had in my stash.
I didn't embellish this layout very much.  I just used some word stickers from a very old sticker sheet that I had kicking around and some tiny type alpha stickers.

I used some digital stamps in the Rhonna Designs app to give my son some privacy in his bath time photos :)

So far, I'm staying up to date in my 2016 album, jut a little slow sharing it here on my blog!  More to come soon!
How is your album progress going this year?

You should have arrived here from Mary's Blog.
I always love her projects!

This month, our theme is Love and Valentine's Day!
I just knew I wanted to break out my Countless Sayings Stamp Set!

This Love stamp was just screaming to be watercolored!  I stamped it on watercolor paper in versamark ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I taped it down to a piece of chipboard with washi tape to try to prevent the paper from warping.

I used my aqua painter brush pen and three ink pads, Rich Razzleberry, Wisteria Wonder and Perfect Plum.  I did one with a loose wash of colors and the other I really saturated, added water droplets and even did some "smooshing" with ink on a window sheet directly onto the watercolor paper.

Once the watercolor dried, I added some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the word Love.  It doesn't come across fully in the photos, but it is so lovely in person!

I stamped "your face" in Basic Black ink and I added a few sequins with the fine tip glue pen.  I layered the watercolor paper onto Wisteria Wonder and layered that onto a Rich Razzleberry card base using Snail adhesive.

I love how they both turned out, but I think the lighter one is my favorite - and it was the quicker & easier one to make!

If you are interested in any of the products I used to create these cards I will have all of my supplies listed at the very end of this post with links to my online store.

Next up on the Blog Hop is Deborah!
