I want to welcome all of you new visitors to my blog!  Thanks for following along our Hop!  Be sure to Subscribe by clicking "join this site" or "subscribe by email" on the right hand side of my blog so you don't miss out on our Blog Hop next month!  We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators and we will be bringing you fun paper crafting ideas using Stampin' Up! products on the 1st of every month.  I hope you have been enjoying the Hop so far.  So many fun ideas from so many talented ladies!!!

You should have arrived here from Mary's Blog.
I just love her floral cards!

This month, many of us are sharing sneak peeks at products from the new 2016 Occasions Catalog and everyone's favorite - the new 2016 Sale-A-Bration Catalog!  I am a girl who loves a good sale and Sale-A-Bration is my FAVORITE time of year!  If you are new to Stampin' Up! you will be learning lots about Sale-A-Bration in the coming months here on my blog, but in a nutshell it runs from January 5 - March 31 and for every $50 you spend during that time you get to choose 1 FREE  item from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog.  And Ladies, its a good one!  I want it all!  But, I restrained myself for the time being.  You will be able to view the new catalogs on January 5th, but as Demonstrators, we have a special perk of viewing the catalog early and ordering early as well.

This is one of my favorite stamp sets from the Sale-A-Bration catalog! Yup, I got it for FREE and you can, too!  This one is called HELLO and will only be available from January 5 - February 15.  It is a rubber stamp set and you can choose to get it in wood mount or clear mount.  I fell in love with the large script-y Hello stamp immediately and all of the other stamps in this set pair with to create cards for so many different occasions!  I love versatility!

So, want to see what I created?  If you follow my blog then you know that I never sit down and create only one card.  When I sit down to create a card I usually have a plan in my mind for how I want it to turn out.  The process of creating it usually gives me another idea, so I make another card, but then I get another idea and it snowballs from there.  So, below are the cards I created using this stamp set in the order I made them.  I usually end up liking the last one the best :)  I would love to know which is your favorite!  Leave me a comment at the end of this post.

This is the first card I envisioned.  This stamp set really lends itself to clean, simple, easy, one layer cards.  I always struggle the most with those believe it or not!  I like how it turned out, but I wasn't totally in love.  Something about the ribbons...

So, I created this card next.  I swapped the ribbons for some Designer Series Paper and switched my embossing powder from white to glitter!  I liked this card even more, but I wasn't quite done playing with this set :)

I went back to white embossing powder and kept this one super simple.  Super simple is definitely not my norm, but I really liked this one so, I made another...

Boom! Favorite!  It incorporates all of my favorite elements of each of the cards I made today and it all happened because of a mistake!

I was actually just making another of the last design I showed you when I stamped "little sunshine" crooked.  Instead of scrapping the card I tried to think of a way to save it and ended up creating my favorite card of the day!  And, no one will ever know about that little mistake hiding under there :)

What do you think? Which one is your favorite?
I would love it if you left me a comment below!

If you are interested in any of the products I used to create these cards I will have all of my supplies listed at the very end of this post with links to my online store.

Next up on the Blog Hop is Deborah!

  5. OMG, it's funny how you look at a catalog and never actually SEE what's in it! This is one stamp set I entirely looked over and now will have to be sure to order it FREE with my next demo order! Thanks! I love the "Hello Birthday Girl". So cute. Awesome job again this month. Happy 2016! Crystal

  6. Love all your variations using this set, Danica! And it was a set that I've passed over - until now! I think my favourite is the last one, too. Great 'save' of a card - I love showing how there are no mistakes - just opportunities to add an embellishment! ;)
