Alphabet Challenge: Q is for Queen of Beauty by Sinful Colors and R is for Ride the Waves by China Glaze - Jelly Sandwich

Queen of Beauty is the only polish I own that starts with the letter Q. So, where to go from there?  I looked at my list of Rs and Ride the Waves jumped out at me.  I really love the China Glaze Summer Neon collection and I had yet to try this gorgeous blue jelly.
Pirouette My Whistle by OPI is my go to glitter for jelly sandwiches so I thought I would do a comparison.  I started with one coat of Ride the Waves.  Then, I added 1 coat of Queen of Beauty on my middle finger and 1 coat of Pirouette My Whistle on my ring finger.  I finished it off with one more coat of Ride the Waves and a coat of Out the Door top coat.
Ummm... I love it! Seriously.  It looks magical.  It glows!  My photos simply do not do it justice!
Indoors and in low light it takes on a teal color that I couldn't capture in photos, but this is a really beautiful, interesting polish.  Bright blues are not normally my thing, but I love this polish and I am happy to have it in my limited collection of blues.  I am also very excited to use Queen of Beauty in more jelly sandwiches.  It created a very even, speckled effect that I could not stop staring at.

Do you love jelly sandwiches? I am fascinated by the endless combinations of colors and glitters.

  2. I have a couple blues that are similar, so I didn't think I needed Ride the Waves, but it makes such a great icy blue sandwich with Pirouette! I'm tempted to run down to Ulta and get it before it's gone, lol.

  7. I definitely love jelly sandwiches! I actually did one once but did large dots in between the layers rather than glitter! This reminds me I need to use Ride the waves for a sandwich.
