Alphabet Challenge: B is for Butterflies by Orly with Blonde Bombshell and Blasted Gold - Swatches and Review
I went bonkers with the letter B for todays mani!
I started with 3 coats of Orly's Butterflies. I picked up Butterflies recently on clearance in Sally's for $2.69! I'm so glad I did! I love it and I only have a few Orly polishes. It is a gorgeous coral pink jelly. I would probably use 4 coats in the future because I still had vnl. I love the color though and I think it will be great for jelly sandwiches!
As I was debating adding a fourth coat, I decided on some accent nails instead. It has been a while since I did an accent nail! It used to be a staple in my manicures!
I added Sephora by OPI in Blasted Gold on my ring finger and thumbnail. I was very pleased that it crackled beautifully. I have used this one before and sometimes it doesn't play nicely with other polishes. I don't use crackles often, but I am far from over the trend. I enjoy a good crackle now and then. Am I alone on this? I feel like everyone is over crackles!
Then I added China Glaze Blonde Bombshell on my middle finger. This is another from my untried stash and I was surprised that the glitter was so dense! It looks like it would give full coverage in 2 coats! I only used one coat and it covered more of Butterflies than I intended. Still fun though!
