You should have arrived here from Mary's Blog.
I always love her projects!

This month, our theme is Love and Valentine's Day!
I just knew I wanted to break out my Countless Sayings Stamp Set!

This Love stamp was just screaming to be watercolored!  I stamped it on watercolor paper in versamark ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I taped it down to a piece of chipboard with washi tape to try to prevent the paper from warping.

I used my aqua painter brush pen and three ink pads, Rich Razzleberry, Wisteria Wonder and Perfect Plum.  I did one with a loose wash of colors and the other I really saturated, added water droplets and even did some "smooshing" with ink on a window sheet directly onto the watercolor paper.

Once the watercolor dried, I added some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the word Love.  It doesn't come across fully in the photos, but it is so lovely in person!

I stamped "your face" in Basic Black ink and I added a few sequins with the fine tip glue pen.  I layered the watercolor paper onto Wisteria Wonder and layered that onto a Rich Razzleberry card base using Snail adhesive.

I love how they both turned out, but I think the lighter one is my favorite - and it was the quicker & easier one to make!

If you are interested in any of the products I used to create these cards I will have all of my supplies listed at the very end of this post with links to my online store.

Project Life with Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin December 2015: One Great Year

So, I'm finally getting around to sharing what I created with My December 2015 Paper Pumpkin Kit - One Great Year!

As soon as I saw the calendar cards included in this month's kit, I knew I wanted to use it for Project Life.

The desk top calendar the kit was designed to create is super cute, but I have been thinking about starting a Project Life Album for my son, documenting his milestones on monthly 2 page spreads.  This kit worked perfectly for my plan!

I stamped the calendar cards and a 3x4 Project Life grid card that I had in my stash for each month using the stamp set from the kit.

Then, I just popped the cards into the page protectors in the album.  Now it is all prepped and ready to go for the whole year!

You can see everything included in the Paper Pumpkin kit this month and how I organized it all in my album in my video above.

Interested in subscribing to Paper Pumpkin?  Now is the best time to try it out because it is Sale-A-Bration!  When you buy a 3-month prepaid subscription, you will get the sale price AND you can choose a FREE Sale-A-Bration item!

New Year, New Album! 2016 Project Life Album Cover Page

I love new beginnings!  They are a time for reflection on the past and a time to set new goals for the future.  I am always super excited to create my cover page for my new Project Life album in the New Year.  I like to include my favorite photos from the past year.  Because the colors were so different in the four photos that I chose, I decided to print them all in black & white.

I also chose very plain cards from the Studio Calico December Documenter kit and just used a few Heidi Swapp arrows to embellish, keeping it clean & simple (and easy)

And, here's a sneak peek at my Week 1 layout that I created as part of the Creative Team for the first, monthly unit it Megan's Pocket Your Year class.  This layout will be exclusive to the class.  If you join the classroom you will be able to see the whole layout and pages from the other members of the Pocket Your Year Creative Team.

Here's the class description...

Pocket scrapbooking is a simple documentation solution, but a year long memory keeping project can be overwhelming. There are many places to get held up in the process. Throughout the year, this course will cover multiple solutions to common trouble spots for pocket scrapbookers and Project Lifer so you can decide what’s best for you.

All pocket scrapbookers are welcome: whether you use your stash, stick with a simple Project Life system, use a small format, or go digi, there will be something for you!

Pocket Your Year includes:

- unlimited access to private classroom

- downloadable monthly video presentations

- downloadable monthly process videos

- lesson worksheets

- exclusive pocket projects from Megan Anderson and Pocket Your Year Creative Team members - find out more here

- design and documentation tips with each project

- bi-monthly video chats with instructor

- e-mail access to instructor

- free Facebook community

- guaranteed access to the classroom for at least one year after the course ends

When you purchase this product, you will receive a Welcome Packet PDF that will give you all the information you need to access the classroom.

Sounds fun right?!?  I know I'm super excited!  Megan is so awesome and I know this class is going to be packed full of useful tips and beautiful inspiration!

December Daily 2015 Album: Week Three with Video

Hi Guys! Here we go with Week 3 of my Daily December Album!  My family still has one more Christmas celebration to go so I haven't been too motivated to complete my album :)  I have it complete through Week 3 so I'll share what I have.

This is a video flip through of Week 3 in my album.

I think this is my favorite divider page yet!  The divider page and 4x4 antler card are from the 2015 Gossamer Blue December Memories kit.  I added a Stampin' Up! reindeer paper clip and a red pom pom from the Stampin' Up! red pom pom trim.  So cute!

Week 3
To decorate the weekly calendar, I used lots of washi tape, some word stickers and stamps from the Project Life by Stampin' Up! Hello December 2015 set.

Day 14
Back at the Doctor!
I had a little more time this week so I stepped it up a bit from last week.  I broke out my We R Memory Keepers Fuse Tool and made some 2x2 sequin shaker pockets.  I also mixed up my products more this week.  The tan card is from the Gossamer Blue December Memories kit and the other 2 cards are from the Project Life by Stampin' Up! Seasonal Snapshot 2015 kit.

Day 15
Finally getting around to decorating our home!
The tan card is from the Gossamer Blue December Memories kit and the other 2 cards are from the Project Life by Stampin' Up! Seasonal Snapshot 2015 kit.

Day 16
More decorating at home and this year's wrapping paper.
The snow globe card is from the Gossamer Blue December Memories kit and the Christmas lights card is from the Project Life by Stampin' Up! Seasonal Snapshot 2015 kit.  I added a word sticker, cork word and some sequins.

Day 17
My son's Holiday Party at his pre-school.  I covered up his classmates with some digital snowflakes.
All of the cards I used were from the Project Life by Stampin' Up! Hello December 2015 kit.  I added a lot of little embellishments from the Hello December kit and a few things from my stash.

Day 18
Dinner at my Mom's house.
All of the cards I used were from the Project Life by Stampin' Up! Hello December 2015 kit.  I went a little wild with snowflake wood veneers!  I also stamped some coordinating snowflakes and added some washi tape.

Day 19
Quiet day at home/what I did at work.
All of the cards I used were from the Project Life by Stampin' Up! Hello December 2015 kit.  I went a little wild with snowflake wood veneers!  I also added some washi tape and an acrylic arrow.

Day 20
Frosty Fest!!!  I took lots and lots of pictures from our visit to Frosty Fest.  I'm going to include a lot more of them in our main album, but I just wanted to pick my favorites for my December album.  So, the next 3 pages are all day 20 :)

The cards I used were from the Project Life by Stampin' Up! Hello December 2015 kit.  I added a cork banner from my stash to my journaling card.  I also added some washi tape and a word sticker to my photo.

I used lots of ephemera for this page.  I put our tickets in the 2x2 pockets and I cut the brochure to fit the 4x4 pocket.  I used the Project Life app to print the 2 2x2 cards using last year's Project Life by Stampin' Up! Seasonal Snapshot kit.  Then I just added a couple cork snowflakes and a word sticker.

I kept my last page super simple.  I used our Frosty Fest tickets and I printed the rest of the cards using the Golden Themed Cards in the Project Life app.

And, that's Week 3!!!  Our last, super late, Christmas celebration is next week and I plan to wrap up my album after that.  How is your December Daily going?  Did you finish?
