You should have arrived here from Mary's Blog.
I always love her projects!

This month, we are sharing projects created with products from Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalog that was released today!  I am so excited to see what all of my fellow blogging friends choose to use! The Holiday Catalog is full of beautiful new items!  My wish list is loooong!  But, I chose my absolute favorites to preorder and that is what I used to create the card I'm sharing with you today.
As soon as I saw the stamp set, Every Good Wish, I was in love!  It has bold sentiments which I love because they make a card come together so quickly & easily!  And, the sentiments are beautiful!  They give you that watercolor emboss resist look with a simple stamp!

With all of the new items in the holiday catalog just begging to find a new home in my craft room, I'm trying to use up some of my papers from last Christmas to make room.  This gorgeous holly paper is from last year's Presents and Pinecones Designer Series Paper Pack and lucky for you it is currently on the clearance rack in my online store :)  The holly pattern is super cute with the holly stamp in this set.

And, you guys know that I hate to waste any of my gorgeous Designer Series Papers, so I used the little strips that were leftover after cutting the 4 x 5 1/4" panel for my card front to decorate the inside.

Another great way to use your scraps?  Give them to your kids!  My son Peter loves to make projects with "Mommy's toys."  I gave him a card base, some paper scraps and an extra stamped sentiment and he went crazy with the glue, lol.  He was so proud of himself!  It was adorable!  And, his card came out really cute, too!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!  I hope you enjoyed the card idea.  I would love it if you would leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  And, please Contact Me with any questions you have!  I'm always happy to help!

Alternative Card Idea #2: Christmas Card using August 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit Giftable Greetings by Stampin' Up!

I am have been having so much fun with my
August 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit!

This month's kit is called "Giftable Greetings" and it is designed to create a boxed set of greeting cards that you can give as a gift!  I love giving sets of my handmade cards as gifts so I was beyond excited to create this month's projects!

In Paper Pumpkin's video below you can see everything included in the kit this month and how to create the projects as they were originally designed.

I love creating the projects as they are designed, but the real fun for me is coming up with other ways to use the materials we get in our kits.  Even after you create the projects that the kit is designed to make, you still have your stamp set & ink pad to use over & over again on other projects.  And, this month we had a lot of leftover bits to use on other projects.  I have a lot of leftover flower die cuts, sentiment ovals, leaf stickers and ribbon so you know I'm not going to let those go to waste!  I'm going to use them to create what I like to call "bonus cards."

In the video below, I share how I created this simple, quick & cute Christmas card using the leftover leaf stickers and a few other items & tools that I had on hand.

If you are not yet a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber you really should get in on the fun!  I love getting a creative surprise in my mailbox every month!  If you would like to learn more, check out my Paper Pumpkin Perks & FAQs!  I would love to be your demonstrator and answer any questions you have.  Feel free to Contact Me anytime!

UnBoxing & Alternative Card Idea #1: August 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit Giftable Greetings by Stampin' Up!

I am so excited to show you guys my
August 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit!

I made a bunch of cards following the instructions in the kit.  They are quick, easy & fun to make and they are so cute!  That is my kind of card!  In the video below, I share what comes in the kit & give you a little bow tying trick for the gift box.  I'm super bow tying challenged so I use any tricks I can :)

In the video below, I share how I created this simple, quick & cute Congrats card using this month's stamp set, ink pad and some of the kit's leftover bits.

Alternative Card Ideas using Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin July 2017 Kit Positively Picturesque

Hi Guys!!!  I have had such a busy month!  Where has the Summer gone!?!  I can't even believe that we are halfway through August already.  In fact, my August Paper Pumpkin has already shipped and I'm just sharing all of the cards I created with July's Kit!

For those of you unfamiliar with Paper Pumpkin, it is a monthly subscription craft kit from Stampin' Up!  Every month is a creative surprise with everything you need to create adorable predesigned projects.  You also get a mini ink pad (or two!) and an exclusive stamp set in every month's kit.  That is probably my favorite part.  Subscribing to Paper Pumpkin is a great way to build up your ink & stamp collection.  And, the projects are always so cute & easy!

The video above shows you everything we got in this month's kit.  You really get a lot of bang for you buck.  The kits are only $19.95 a month & that includes shipping!
And, it gets even better!  If you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin by 9/10/17 you can save 50% OFF you first month when you enter the promo code: HALFOFF0917
Click Here to join in on the fun now!

I love to create the projects just as they are designed when I first get my kit in the mail and then I love to really get creative and come up with alternative ways to use my kit's contents.

I made the two cards above following the kit's instructions.  Aren't they so cute!?!  I love the washi tapes that we got in the kit this month.  It was the washi tape that inspired me to create the card below.

The washi tape creates a really fun background for this super simple card.  And, I just love the font used in the exclusive stamp set in this month's kit.  I'm going to get a ton of use out of this "thanks" stamp!

You can watch the video above to see how I created the card above & I also show everything that came in the kit this month.

I created this card using the envelopes that came in this month's kit.  They were lined with this pattern in out new In Color, Lemon Lime Twist. I cut up one of the envelopes so I could use it on this card & I also used a couple of my favorite punches. This card super quick & easy!

Oh, it is so hard to pick a favorite, but I do love this one!  I think it is because I love that Happy Birthday die so much!  That die is part of a bundle with one of my favorite stamp sets in the new Stampin' Up! catalog called Happy Birthday Gorgeous.  And, of course it also has sequins :)
Other Products used to create this card

I haven't created a card with the messy thread look in a while and I do love it!  I think it complemented the watercolor wash background nicely.  I accented the focal point with a few of those little sunburst stamps that were in the kit this month.  They are the perfect size to pop a little sequin right in the middle.
Other Products used to create this card

This card was probably the most fun to create.  Sometimes you just want to get your fingers inky :)  I usually have to try to hold myself back when I'm creating these ink speckles so I don't go overboard.  They are just so fun!
Other Products used to create this card

You can watch to video below to see how I created this card.

In the video I promise to show you the card I created with the heart die cut that I used as a mask in the card above, so here it is!  Cute, right?  And, oh so simple!

I just stamped the plus sign border stamp that came in the kit a couple times in basic black ink.  I also used my basic black ink pad to color the wood word "love" from the kit.  I just dunked it into the top of the ink pad a few times to color it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!  I hope you enjoyed these card ideas.  I would love it if you would leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  And, please Contact Me with any questions you have!  I'm always happy to help!
