Danica Ferrante - Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Ulster County, New York -
Celebrating all things beautiful and finding beauty in all things! From nail polish and makeup to Project Life, scrapbooking and cardmaking, this is a blog about my many loves.
I have two fun cards that I made for a Color Challenge
to share with you today!
I am part of a team of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators called the Blooms & Butterflies. The Blooms are Hobbyist Demonstrators and the Butterflies are Career Demonstrators. It is such a supportive and inspiring group of very talented ladies! We will be doing a monthly Color Challenge hosted over at our Team Leader's website BrandysCards.com
You can head over to Brandy's website to see all of the beautiful cards that my teammates made using the color combination below.
And, I challenge you to play along!
Leave me a link in the comments below so I can check out your creations with this color combo! Or, you can Email me a photo of your cards and I will feature them here on my blog!
The Botanical Builder framelit die set is so fun and versatile! This border die is one of my favorites from the set. It pairs so beautifully with the flower from the You've Got This stamp set!
I love using the banner stamp and matching die from the Number of Years bundle! There are so many sentiments from so many different stamp sets that fit in the banner! This 'Happy Birthday" stamp is from the Boys will be Boys stamp set that is retiring at the end of this month.
Don't forget, there is still time to pick up your favorite items from the Retiring List! These items will be going away forever at the end of the month, so if you see something you love, don't delay! And right now, I am also giving away a FREE SURPRISE GIFT with every order over $25!

Hey Guys! I have two more pages to share with you today from my Awesome Ladies Project album! I have been having so much fun being on the Creative Team! I'm so excited to share my pages here with you guys. I think it will be a fun way for you guys to learn more about me :)
If you would like to sign up for the class you can Click Here to learn more! The class has weekly questions and creative prompts to help you document your awesome lady self! These are my pages for challenge 15 "What is Your Sleep Routine" and challenge 16 "Where Do You Live?"
So, while I know that there are no "rules" when it comes to scrapbooking, I kind of *need* to have opposite pages in my album match each other. Is that weird? These pages are totally separate from one another, but because they face each other in my album, I feel like they have to match. I have tried letting unrelated pages stand alone in my albums, but it just ends up making me crazy when I look through them later. Am I alone on this? How do you guys deal with unrelated one page layouts in your albums?
I created this 6x8 page for the challenge about my sleep routine. My son recently started sleeping in a toddler bed and since his sleep routine has changed, so has mine. The process of putting him to bed is a long one these days and I'm embarrassed to admit that I often fall asleep while putting him to sleep!
To create the page, I used some leftover sticker strips from my Pocketful of Cheer Paper Pumpkin kit and some washi tape. The black stripe washi tape is one of my favorites and it is on sale right now in the Project Life by Stampin' Up! Seasonal Snapshot 2015 Accessory Pack. The Cucumber Crush polka dot washi tape is part of the Stampin' Rewards set and it is on the retiring list right now.
This is the page I created for challenge 16 about where I live. I used more leftover bits from my Pocketful of Cheer Paper Pumpkin Kit along with some scraps of 2015-2017 In Color Designer Series Paper. I added some alpha stickers and journalling and boom - done! A very simple page. I have lived in the same town all of my life. I love this town and can't imagine living anywhere else. It is home to me and now that I have a family of my own, I love that it is home for my family.
If you would like to purchase any of the products that I used for my page today, I listed them below with links to my online store.
As a Creative Team Member I am able to share my love for Memory Keeping with others. I love to encourage others to document their lives and this class is a great place to start!
